Bed cleaning is of vital importance to the tanning process because it
enhances your beds performance. This is accomplished by keeping fans
and air vents clean. The accompanying results will provide for optimal
UV results. This can only be achieved by thoroughly inspecting all air
vents and cooling units and usually involves removing of the back of the
canopy. Repeating this procedure twice a year will keep your bed running
at optimal performance.
During our bed cleaning process, we gently remove dust and other
foreign particles from the bed surface and its components. We do not use
high pressure equipment (i.e.. Air compressors) in our cleaning process
so as not to damage or disrupt any of the beds electrical parts or wiring.
Another important part of the cleaning process is the removal and cleaning
of the acrylics. A dirty, worn, scratched or fogged up acrylic can greatly
reduce the UV output. Cleaning and polishing even older acrylics can
improve performance. If you find it difficult to remove & clean your own
acrylic you may want to schedule more frequent thorough bed cleanings.
